• 1st-ever undefeated season in school history
• 2nd Conference Championship
• The Dawgs earned a final ranking by the IDPA of #10
• Bettendorf had the #1 Total Offense & Total Rushing in Class I
• For the first time in school history, two players rushed for 1000+ yards (Dave Cox and Don Gray)
• Against Fulton in Week #2, the Bulldogs unveiled their new black jerseys which were primarily used for out-of-town games; however, thanks to a very cooperative Fulton Coach, Mr. Daryl Mensch, the Fulton team wore their white home jerseys so Bettendorf could wear their new black ones in front of their own home crowd
